  • Represented family of former Texas Governor in the sale of 2,400 acres on outskirts of D/FW Metroplex to a developer.

Building Owner Representation:

  • On an ongoing basis, perform all legal work for the 73-story Bank of America Plaza building in downtown Dallas, Texas.

  • Provided all legal services for the twin towered Pennzoil Place building in downtown Houston, Texas.

  • Represented consortium of approximately 25 Texas office buildings in the negotiation of contracts with four electric companies bidding for the buildings' business under the State's newly deregulated power system.

  • Represented building owner in obtaining the abandonment of a portion of a downtown street by the City of Dallas.

Office and Retail Leasing:

  • Represented owners and tenants in hundreds of office and retail lease transactions.

  • Represented a multi-national company moving its U.S. headquarters from Vermont to Texas in leasing a new home office and warehouse facility on the grounds of DFW International Airport.

Real Estate Finance

  • Represented life insurance company in $5,300,000 loan on large convenience store, restaurant and service station complex.

  • Represented major public company in $38,750,000 synthetic lease financing.

  • Served as Texas counsel to borrower in issuing opinion to lender on $24,000,000 hotel financing.

  • Represented world's largest cable manufacturer in purchase of loans to one of its distributors secured by inventory.

  • Represented fast food developer/operator in acquisition and construction loans.

  • While associated with his former firm, for many years Mr. See represented Republic National Bank of Dallas, then one of the nation's largest construction lenders, in the negotiation, documentation and closing of construction loans to real estate developers. (The bank was a victim of the real estate collapse of the late '80s and no longer exists.)

  • While associated with his former firm, for many years Mr. See represented CIGNA Corporation in permanent real estate lending transactions in Texas. (Mr. See transferred responsibility for this client to another partner in the firm when he became the firm's managing partner, due to the time demands of that position.)

  • Represented national wireless telephone company in a year-long project involving 672 cell site leases throughout the central and western United States from Alaska to Texas.

  • Represented building owners in more than 100 telecommunications licensing transactions in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

  • Represented national wireless telephone company in leasing numerous cell sites in shopping centers and on office buildings, water towers and other types of structures from the Mississippi River to California.
