"Rob See represented the landlord some years ago in connection with our law firm's lease of office space in a downtown Dallas office tower. I found him very responsive, thorough and easy to work with – in addition to being knowledgeable and a good draftsperson. He readily agreed to make reasonable revisions and even as to issues which we knew would require significant landlord concessions, he was willing to acknowledge our legitimate needs and to fairly present matters which were important to us for consideration by the landlord. That's not always the case. Some landlord representatives are considerably more difficult to deal with - at times almost seeming to resent a prospective tenant's requests, especially those that require material revisions of a standardized lease form. Rob was just the opposite. While he was clear as to what could and could not be done, he willingly worked with us with respect to the gray areas as well and often took the lead in crafting compromise language.
